Summary

Amends the

National Health Act 1953
to: expand the criteria for determining that brands of pharmaceutical items are co-marketed; provide access to the Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme (PBS) for government officers (and accompanying spouses and dependants) working overseas; enable married or de facto couples living apart permanently due to illness or infirmity to use the PBS safety net jointly; and make minor technical amendments.
